Ray Weaver, Chairman

Ray Weaver has served on the SCD board for twenty years. He farms hogs and specialty crops, and markets his home grown pork products.

Chris Anderson, Vice-Chairman

Chris Anderson has been on the SCD board for five years. He and his family raise purebred Hereford and commercial cattle. 

Cindy

Cindy Anderson, Seceratary Treasurer

Cindy Anderson has served on the SCD Board for twenty-four years. She serves as the Board’s Secretary/Treasurer, owns Summitville Feed & Fertilizer Co, and raises beef cattle.

Brent Willis has served on the SCD board for twenty years. He raises beef cattle and row crops in the Hillsboro community.

Jimmy Spears has served on the SCD board for three years. He raises beef cattle and row crops in the Fountain Grove community.

SCD staff members are available to assist landowners with programs available through partner organizations. 

 

SCD Board

Soil Conservation Districts are local units of government responsible for the soil and water conservation work within their boundaries. The districts' role is to increase voluntary conservation practices among farmers, ranchers and other land users. The SCD is governed by an elected board.

FSA Staff
